Hello all!

This extremely simple webpage is intended to serve as a detailed presentation of myself, Adrian Cotuna.
Here you will find information about my education level and high quality image scans of all school graduation certificates and other job required training certificates.

I was born and raised in Timisoara, Romania (date of birth October 30, 1979).
The primary school was the General Educational School no. 27 just two blocks away from our home. At the time, the primary school required 8 mandatory classes (8 years in that school).
Being a child I was always attracted by mechanical and electrical devices and the way they work.
On the 7th grade, I’ve participated to a local contest of computer programming (Basic language of the ZX Spectrum computers with Z80 microprocessor) and received 7th place on the local State/Province Timis, Romania.

As I already took a turn to the technical area I’ve decided to subscribe to the Polytechnics University of Timisoara in the year 1998. See degree
With the idea of becoming a dedicated job engineer, I’ve studied most of the available computer design software. This way I got really close to the well known technical drawing design AutoCAD and electrical design in Protel 99 SE. See some projects
At the same time I have developed an important hobby for multimedia editing and started collaboration with one of my good friends in recording and editing special event tapes like wedding, birthday etc.
I am very familiar with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, Sonic Foundry Soundforge and developed a great skill in handling and maintaining tapes, CD’s, MD’s etc. as well as the corresponding devices like VCR, photo cameras, CD-P, MD-Deck, CD-Recorder, scanners, printers etc.
Then, after all 5 years at University, the final exam came…
I was looking for an interesting project as the final exam… and I’ve found it: a mini AGV. See the project files
Working together with one of my colleagues and actually one of my best friends we have build a great small robot which followed a black line on the floor. See detailed info
The project was a success indeed and besides that, I even did offer my help to a few of my other colleagues for different projects like coded door access lock and light barrier sensors.
Currently I am an employee at ICCO EMT since September 2003, immediately after graduating University. See University certificate
I’ve got specialized on SMT pick and place machines produced by the industrial side of Philips Company, now called Assembleon.
At the end of the year 2005 I have received the first training in Agilent ICT (In Circuit Test) and testers and got specialized since then. See certificates
At the bottom of the Agilent certificates you may also have noticed an ICCO EMT certificate, ICCO 4×4. This one stands for performance, friendship, learning and innovation.
The beginning of 2007 did put the mark on international collaboration with Agilent Technologies in Boeblingen, Germany becoming one of the on-site customer support service engineers. See letter of recommendation
At the moment I am living in Chisoda-Giroc village next to Timisoara city and work daily at ICCO EMT on the other side of the city.
Begining with last couple of months of 2008 and continuing in 2009 ICCO EMT started a new project form scratch: a GPS automotive tracking device. I was assigned as the designer and head of that project. The first tests were made in spring this year and they were a complete success. We are looking now to get to a final design and start a mass production. Photos from test
In the meantime, due to the economical chrysis, I proposed a new project: develop of street illumination lamps using LED’s. This is to begin relatively soon.
My greatest hoobies are music played from a high quality turntable, movies which also have to be extremely clear and model railroad.
